Review: Stowe Landscape Gardens, Buckinghamshire

Over the years I have had the pleasure of visiting many excellent visitor attractions, in particular some stunning heritage properties. The National Trust’s Stowe in Buckinghamshire was one of those on my proverbial ‘to do’ or ‘to visit’ list but for various reasons had eluded me and managed to stay on that list.  That is until now.  And it’s been well worth the wait.

After years of historical and archaeological detective work, nine lost statues of the ‘Muses’ – goddesses of the creative arts and poetry – have been recreated at the National Trust’s world-famous gardens at Stowe in Buckinghamshire.
