Review: Luminate at Coombe 2023 lights up the build-up to Christmas

Discovering Durham – Day 3: Doing the Locomotion

We have reached the final day – or in our case, half day – of discovering some of Durham’s quite excellent visitor attractions. After another very hearty breakfast of pastries, bacon rolls and coffee, we say our fond farewells to the Park Head Hotel and set off for nearby Shildon and our last engagement on what has been a fabulous itinerary; a visit to Locomotion.
